Having overdosed after his last show in his most recent engagement, the Opera Singer looks to an eager protege to collaborate on a project that has abstract ambitions, in an effort to maintain his producer's confidence and prove his ability to a niche industry that is ready to give up on him. After learning about the manager's frustrations and observing the Opera Singer's vulnerability, the protege begins to steal notes and ideas from the Opera Singer, planning to double-cross him.
